TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 

By placing an order with The Hunter Press you are accepting and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. In the following text, “us”, “we” and “our” will refer to The Hunter Press and “you” to the customer.

 

Customers must provide their contact details including actual full name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information.

Customers warrant that the payment details provided when purchasing products are theirs and are valid and correct.

 

 

ORDERS

 

For all orders, a non-refundable 50% fee is due to begin production.

If you are providing your own design, we will require your design be provided to us in one of the following formats: .eps, .ai Illustrator file, or PDF.  Please make sure that fonts are embedded or outlined.  This is to allow us to edit the file for plate making. We will provide you with a black and white proof of your design for final approval.  A fee of £45.00 stands for file preparation if not supplied in one of the above formats.

 

 

HANDMADE

 

Letterpress is a handmade process.  Every print may vary with ink coverage, ink colour, impression, registration and other characteristics and we do not honour claims for a refund or reprint due to these reasons.

 

We hand-mix custom colours so ink colours may differ from what you see on your computer screen. We try our best to match closely the colour you desire and recommend sending us a physical swatch or Uncoated PMS Ref of your desired colour.

We use Pantone’s Uncoated reference system to colour match and we mix ink as best as we can.  If save the date cards are ordered in advance of invitations, or invitations in advance of wedding day goods, the colour of ink may vary slightly.

 

As our presses are old, there is the possible circumstance that something may break. If this happens, it is highly unlikely it will be a quick fix. In this circumstance, we will inform you of the status of your order and may issue a full refund if needs be.

 

 

PAYMENT

 

After a consultation, we will provide you with a quote and overview for your order. Once approved, we then send an invoice to you for the first 50% installment and require payment in full in order to begin production.

We prefer customers to pay via BACS transfer because it’s fast, reliable and secure. Our BACS information will be provided on all invoices. 

 

When print production is complete, the final invoice for 50% will be issued.  Payment is required prior to shipping.

 

Please note we do not charge VAT.

 

 

PRIVACY

 

The Hunter Press recognises and respects your privacy and treats your personal information as private. All personal details provided will be kept safe, secure and confidential and will not under any circumstances be distributed to third parties. Your details will be kept on a private database for The Hunter Press use only.

 

 

PRODUCTION

 

We aim to fulfill orders within 2-3 weeks after payment. We depend on various suppliers to fulfill orders. In the rare occasion there are delays beyond our control, we will keep you up to date with your order.

 

 

SHIPPING

 

We deliver via First Class, Royal Mail Special Delivery and 24/48 Hour Express. We are not responsible for any delays, damages or loss caused by the carrier. However, we always purchase insurance to cover the value of the order.

 

Please note that for international deliveries, you are responsible for all import duties and taxes. International delivery may also exceed expected delivery time.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS and REPLACEMENTS

 

We will only print according to the approved proof. If any replacements are required due to errors, they will be charged in full. We are not responsible for any mistakes printed unless we deviate from the approved proof. Therefore, we recommend you check very carefully all information, design, grammar, spelling and size prior to final approval. 

 

As stated previously, every print may vary with ink coverage, ink colour, impression, registration and other characteristics and we do not honour claims for a refund or reprint due to these reasons.

 

Due to the bespoke nature of our business, quantities cannot be reduced once production begins and we do not offer returns or refunds.

Every effort has been made to ensure the proper performance of our website, as well as keeping content accurate and up-to-date. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections to the content on our website at any time without prior notice. Misinterpretation of any information on our website is not our responsibility. If you have uncertainties or queries about the content, please contact us directly.

All of our stationery, artwork, designs and website content are property of The Hunter Press and are not to be reproduced without our written permission.

 

When you submit your own artwork or design for printing, you are claiming you have the rights or permission to use that design and we accept no responsibility for the infringement of copyright or intellectual property of another’s work.

 

 

PUBLICITY

 

We reserve the right to use and share anything we create for you for publicity. We realise that publishing wedding details prior to the wedding may not be ideal, so please let us know up front if you would like us to wait until after the wedding has taken place to publicise.

 

 

 

 

We reserve the right to make changes to our Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
